Join us for First Friday Art Walk and the opening of a special exhibit co-curated by Bruce Brown and Robert Baird about the craftspeople, artisans, and tradespeople who built and restored the U.S. Capitol Dome. In addition to exhibiting photos, Baird will also be showing drawings for the Capitol by architect Thomas U. Walter. The exhibit will be on display for the whole month of November and is in conjunction with The 2019 Sparrow Lecture on November 8th where Baird will talk about his experiences restoring the cast-iron elements on this important landmark.
